This dress has a vintage abstract floral design in shades of teal, blue and Chartreuse, which personifies the glamorous look of the late 60s/early 70s.
As was the norm in the late 1960s/early 70s, most high end designers produced clothing made from synthetic fabrics including Marjon Couture.
The fabric of this dress is made to look like organza but is in fact Courtaulds nylon, making it easier to care for.
Her boat neckline features a fitted sleeveless cut bodice with a simple, slightly A line full length skirt. The back of the dress is where all the drama takes place, with a scooped back neckline, from which, is attached a floating floor length panel, attached at the back neckline with a floral detail of the same fabric.
A wonderful, vibrant dress that can compliment any summer vintage wardrobe.
